MAIN STREET MURAL PROJECT
We’re on a mission to add a new mural to the intersection of Main & West 7th Streets.
Street murals bring neighborhoods to life! Beyond proven traffic calming effects, murals add to the unique art and culture in Downtown Vancouver.
Our vision is to celebrate the vibrant, intersectional 2SLGBTQIA+ community with a design that represents diversity and belonging, symbolizing Vancouver’s position as a beacon of inclusivity in the Pacific Northwest.
The installation of the mural will be marked by a community event in the Spring of 2026 where community members will join together to roll up their sleeves, splash on some color, and celebrate the spirit of Vancouver.
As part of the City’s formal Street Mural Program, we’re reaching out to neighboring property owners, businesses, and residents for support. Your endorsement of the project is invaluable, and we’re grateful to be in community with you.
